SETUP AND FRETWORK
Setup work involves adjustment only, and no physical alteration of hardware, frets, or wood. A basic setup, for instance, includes adjustment of truss rod, adjustment of nut slots, and adjustment of saddles to bring the guitar to factory specs (neck relief, action, and intonation), or the user’s preferred specs. Also includes cleaning and polishing of guitar body and frets and changing of strings. We almost always recommend at least our deluxe setup (includes level and crown) for the best possible playability, even on new guitars.
30-DAY SETUP WARRANTY
We will always ask you to play your guitar when you pick it up, so we can make final adjustments, but we understand that it takes a few days of playing your guitar to make sure it’s set up exactly right for you! We offer a 30-day warranty on all setup work. Just bring the guitar back in for further adjustments. No appointment needed, but it’s always nice to know you’re coming. In most cases, we will do it while you wait.
